How we help you choose a new ERP system

Why new ERP

Either your ERP system is failing, the most common reason for change, or your system does not support your strategy and efficiency requirements. The investment is large so the benefits of a new ERP system need to be large too. We help companies cost-effectively identify the best options for the future.

What we focus on

We go through all the necessary perspectives to both identify the right system for you but also to lay the foundation for a successful implementation. We prefer to be with you all the way until you are up and running with the new system. It has been proven many times over that expert help that accompanies you all the way always leads to more successful implementations.

What we do

In principle, our work always follows our methodology, which we reuse in all system choices but where we are careful to adjust it to suit your business. Our consultants are very used to working in this way. The image shows the work we do to help you make the best and most thoughtful system choice possible.

How long does it take to trade up?

The calendar time from start to finish depends on how big your organisation is, how complex it is and how many people need to be involved in the process. Usually it takes 3-4 months, but if your organisation is large and complex it may take longer. We will agree a timetable with you that makes sense for you.

What is required of your organisation during a system selection project?

You will appoint a number of business people to attend and set requirements during a small number of workshops, we use very time efficient methods that minimise the requirement on the business. In addition, experts from your IT organisation are needed for non-functional requirements and security issues. If you have a purchasing function responsible for the contracting process, they will also be involved.

How much consultant time does it take?

Depending on the size of your organisation and how many of your employees need to be involved, it takes different amounts of time. The smallest procurement we did took about 200 hours and the largest about 700 hours. You will know before you hire us what we estimate so you have full transparency about the cost of hiring us.
